Mare is made entirely from Spanish merino, two yarns, totalling 395 grams and 3132 stithces.
250g — Wooldreamers, Sierra de San Pedro, Extremadura (turquoise)
Raised by the livestock farm of D. Antonio Egea Colás in the dehesa, a traditional open oak woodland landscape where sheep roam freely across vast terrain, season by season. The dehesa is one of Spain’s most biodiverse and ancient farming systems. OEKO-TEX 100 certified.
145g — Soc una Troca, Catalonia (blues with dots of dark blue and orange)
A 100% Spanish merino, spun in Catalonia, hand-dyed by Soc una Troca, an independent dyer based in Catalonia, in a combination of blues with flecks of dark blue and orange. Because it is hand-dyed, the variation across the skein is natural and unrepeatable. No two skeins are dyed exactly alike.
